settlement.

4. I am to enquire what reply

should be sent to the 0.A.G. regarding

Nguyen ai Quoc's desire to proceed to

England.

5. For the present no steps are

being taken to obtain the consent of

the Govt. of the Commonwealth of

Australia for him to enter Australia

and stay there for the purpose of

transhipment.
